The Media and Communications Committee (MCC) acts as a conduit for information and idea exchange within the Honors community. To achieve this, we will showcase and advertise Honors news, activities, and scholarship. Ultimately, we hope to engage students in an online community around the events, ideas, and people that make up University Honors. The objectives of MCC includes:

 

1. Producing quarterly newsletters that include Honors events, student accomplishments, and editorial pieces on various issues.

 

2. Publishing articles on the Media & Communications Committee's website.

 

3. Providing social media coverage (through Youtube, Facebook, Tumblr) of events and activities relevent to the University Honors community.

 

Brainstorming new ideas to improve communications within University Honors, the UCR campus, and our surrounding communities.
